2018 was the BEST year ever for Ultimate Reloader! I published over 90 stories (posts and videos for each) in 2018 which is a record for me. This year, I’m going to accelerate my publication pace, and take pretty much EVERYTHING to the “next level”! Here’s some of what you can expect…
Coverage from SHOT Show 2019
I’ll be at the 2019 SHOT Show all week, and will be bringing you all stories about new products, interesting people in the shooting sports world, and more. Stay tuned because it’s coming up very shortly!
More Stories
In 2018, I published one story every 4 days on average. In 2019, I’m planning to almost double that! There’s going to be a lot more reloading stories, gun stories, gunsmithing stories, and some new things as well!
Here are some new content areas for 2019:
- HOWA rifles! I’ll be evaluating, shooting, and gunsmithing on some awesome rifles including the HOWA mini action, the HOWA short action, and the HOWA long action. More details coming…
- More suppressor action: Including the SilencerCo Omega 30, SilencerCo Hybrid, SilencerCo Osprey 45 (as well as related reloading and shooting stories!)
- More PRS action- I’m looking to compete in more matches, and will be publishing content related to PRS, it’ll be both challenging *and* fun!
More Features, Tests, and Comparisons
For 2019, I’ll be looking to publish a featured story (in depth) about once a month. These stories will be geared towards skills you can learn, technology walk-throughs, and other related stories. One such feature will be a comparison of 14 different single-stage reloading presses – all side-by-side! (Targeting later in January 2019). I’m also planning to do a 5-station progressive reloading press comparison, a gun photography course, and much more.
Defense and Concealed Carry
I’m working on some GREAT defense content that will cover things like handgun tactics, concealed carry from A-Z, holsters, carry weapons, rifle defense, and perhaps even shotgunning for defense. More details coming soon!
Weekly Giveaway
Perhaps the biggest news for 2019 is the fact that I’ll be giving away something EVERY WEEK. I’m working with my partners to facilitate a weekly “light-weight contest” that will involve prizes ranging from T-Shirts all the way up to reloading presses (and perhaps more!). 2019: Here We Come!
There’s lots more to share- and I’ll be rolling out more announcements over the course of the year, but for now, there’s plenty to look forward to, and things here on Ultimate Reloader are just going to keep getting better and better!
