Background

What started as a dream has now become reality beyond what I had initially imagined. I started my journey towards precision rifle building with the goal of building world-class precision rifles for myself. Learning from some of the world’s most qualified precision rifle gunsmiths has been an honor and sharing that knowledge on Ultimate Reloader has been a true joy.

Turning Point

At one point I found myself looking at the machinery and tooling in my shop thinking to myself that I could do more than just to build rifles for myself. I decided to take the best of what I had shown on my channels and to offer some of those rifles to the public in the form of extremely limited production runs.

I’m happy to formally introduce our first full-custom rifles: just like what you’ve seen on the channel! These PRS-focused rifle packages are built by hand on manual machines one at a time.

Results

After building the two 223 precision rifles,  I fired the first few shots at 100 yards just to check to see if it was on paper, and here’s what happened:

That’s right, the first three rounds through this rifle produced a group measuring just 0.166″! For this testing I used Berger’s 77 grain OTM factory 223 Remington Ammunition. Amazing.

And here’s a test target from the break-in of our first custom rifle (chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor) that was delivered to Alex and Matt Findlay at Annealing Made Perfect:

Two types of ammunition were tried in that rifle with Federal Premium Gold Medal factory ammunition (140 grain SMK bullet) performing the best (group pictured above).
