I use my binoculars ALL the time. Whether it be for spotting game, spotting for a fellow shooter, or finding targets on a hillside, they are an everyday tool for me. Feature Breakdown

With the onboard menu system, you can change the following:
- Yards -vs- meters
- Ranging modes: Incline angle, vertical distance, horizontal distance, OFF (line of sight distance only)
- Measuring method: Auto, Golf mode, Hunt mode
- Display brightness
For basic operation, all you need to do is the following:
- Point the binoculars at what you want to see/range
- Hit the power button once to turn on the binoculars
- Press the power button again to range the distance
I found the rangefinding to work VERY consistently and nearly instantaneously at ranges up to 2100 yards, and with a variety of surfaces as well.

Athlon advertises these binoculars as capable to 2000 yards for reflective surfaces, and I got that and more as seen above. What’s more, ranging was very consistent and quick at this distance: well over a mile (1.2 miles to be exact)!
I’m very happy with these binoculars, and at this point I can’t imagine being without them.

Very nice, but, what you don’t seem to realize is that most of us- 99.9%
of us can’t afford that much money for a rifle, let alone a pair of glasses.
Don’t misunderstand, they’re nice. And the combination is nice. But be
realistic- ain’t gonna happen. You tend to go to the extremes- most of us
can’t. Please, put a little more thought into what you advocate.
