I absolutely LOVE my Forster Co-Ax single-stage reloading press. It’s got precision, efficiency, and made-in-USA quality. It even looks nice (See the Forster Co-Ax highlight in my 14- press shootout HERE). The one thing that has frustrated me has been the small-to-large shellholder changeover process and vice-versa. It’s not a big deal, but if I haven’t switched case sizes in a few months, I have to remember how to disassemble the jaws, flip them around, make sure the springs are in the right locations, and then reassemble. Forster has come up with a great solution to this problem: Quick Change Jaws for the Forster Co-Ax.
These dedicated shellholder jaws for the Forster Co-Ax are available in the following configurations:
- S-Large – holds .468″ to .562″ rim
- S-Small – holds .343″ to .422″ rim
- LS-Large – holds .531″ to .625″ rim
- LS-Small – holds .312″ to .375″ rim
Here’s the “S SM” and “S LG” jaw sets:

Gavin, what the heck. They all show BO’d
I removed the quick change jaws and replaced them with the holder for regular shell holders and like that better than the quick change set up.
At 50 bucks a piece, I don’t think they will sell a whole lot of them! I’ll continue to deal with the springs.
Manzgear has also solved that problem. Manzgear@gmail.com to order the enclosed spring and beefed up plate design.
