About Creedmoor Sports’ ELR Rifle Case

I started my ELR building with a .50 BMG, Cerakoting the entire platform in green to become “The Hulk.”

The APA Gen 2 XXX Bastard brake significantly tamed the recoil but what most surprised me were the sub-MOA groups with belt-fed machine gun ammunition.

The BAT EX action, Accurate Rifle Systems ELR chassis, Accuracy Solutions BipodeXt, and  brake remained while I swapped the bolt and  32” Bartlein .50 BMG barrel for a 38” Bartlein .375 CheyTac barrel.

I also added a Timney Remington 700 Benchrest trigger. In its .375 CheyTac configuration, the rifle is about 63” in length—depending upon the stock length of pull—and wouldn’t fit in any of my cases.

In my search for a new bag, I noticed that most of the offerings exceeded $500.

I talked with Creedmoor Sports about the need for a more affordable ELR bag and they made one!
