Exclusive Hornady AP Powder Measure Kit from Ultimate Reloader and Midsouth Shooters Supply

One of the questions I get from time to time here on Ultimate Reloader is: “Hey, I want to add another Hornady Lock-N-Load powder measure to my press, what parts do I need?”. The answer is, you’ll need the following (assuming you’d like to load both rifle and pistol cartridges with your powder measure):

This is not really documented anywhere (this magic combination of parts) – and you have to buy these components separately. So why not offer all of these components as a set, and offer a discount as well? That’s exactly what I’ve done with help from Midsouth Shooters Supply, so here it is: (Exclusive to Midsouth Shooters Supply)

Now you can add another Hornady Lock-N-Load powder measure to your press with a “single click”. Here’s a video where I talk about this powder measure system, and the kit introduced here:

Now you can make your bench look like mine! With the components in this kit you can setup your powder measure to throw loads manually, set it up for case-activated loading for pistol, and set it up for case-activated loading for rifle. Now that’s loading in style!

Hopefully this kit is of interest to you all, and I can vouch for how nice it is two have two dedicated Hornady Lock-N-Load powder measures. I’ve loaded everything from ball, flattened ball, flake, short stick to long stick powders with this powder measure, and it’s accuracy and function is right up there at the top compared with other powder measures. There you have it! Hope this package deal is helpful.

Thanks!
Gavin

    1. I would like to know also. I would like to use one on a Dillon 650 and 550 but would like to hear your thoughts or better yet a video of it on one of the Dillon’s. Let us know your thoughts

  1. Works great on the 550. setup was very sleight forward using the Hornady powder die instead of the dillon

  2. I’d like to add this to my new Lyman All American 8 Turret press, however, I’ve heard about issues with clearing the primer feed tube in the front of the press. Will this be effective on my turret with enough clearance with the primer feed?
