Installation
Delivery of the BAE-0300 was extremely smooth. It arrived on a truck with a lift gate.
We rolled it with a pallet jack to our desired location and I quickly uncrated it.
It came surrounded by moving blankets and plastic wrap to ensure it stayed undamaged during transport.
When we had it all unwrapped, we rocked it onto two 2” x 4”s, removed the pallet, and got it on the concrete floor.
Once on solid concrete these ovens move fairly easily.
We had moved one of the BAE-0200 ovens out of the way to make room for the BAE-0300.
This oven came well packaged with a rolling cart and owner’s manual inside. We did have to install the door handle.
About the BAE-0300 Cerakote Oven
The standout feature of the BAE-0300 is a rolling cart for incredibly convenient racking.
Built American left two troughs for the heat-safe steel wheels to roll into, but added insulated sections on either side for heat retention.

While the oven only comes with one cart, having multiple carts for different jobs can increase efficiency.
From Built American:
BAE-0300 Standup Capacity Cerakote Circulation Oven was engineered specifically for Cerakote™ applicators. It is built for curing Cerakote ™ ceramic coatings. The convection assist airflow design teamed with the high temperature motor provides temperature uniformity to ensure consistent drying, curing and baking results.
Updated Design with Improved Workflow Features:
-
- Refined Layout: Streamlined design enhances functionality and overall performance.
- Insulated Hybrid Floor with Fitted Roller Cart: Keeps the roller cart precisely centered within the curing chamber.
- Upgraded Roller Cart: Includes a hanging rack top shelf and a removable middle shelf for added versatility.
- Optimized Air Circulation: Hot air is drawn from the top, routed through internal ductwork, and evenly redistributed from the bottom.
- Unobstructed Chamber Access: All ductwork, heating elements, and temperature sensors are built into the chamber walls, maximizing usable space.

Demonstration
I connected the oven to power and set it to 400 degrees Fahrenheit for two hours to let things bake off.
The first thing I noticed was that the BAE-0300 sounds different from the BAE-0200.
The BAE-0300 features a redesigned circulating fan to provide better uniform temperatures and better air mixing inside the oven.
I Cerakoted some parts, hung them on the rolling cart, flash cured them, and applied another coat before running a program at 250 degrees Fahrenheit in the new oven.
The trick came in deliberately racking the parts so they would not knock into each other as I rolled the cart into the oven.
This was much faster than hanging each individual piece inside the oven with only one access point!
Conclusion
The rolling cart design of the BAE-0300 is a significant time-saver. I look forward to utilizing multiple carts in the future to maximize oven time. It would be very easy to let one cart cool while another filled with parts cures.
