About the AMP Mate

First off, always be sure your firmware is up to date! Check the downloads section on AMPAnnealing.com for the most recent versions.

I haven’t personally had any of the below issues. Though it took some time to set up, the AMP Mate is working wonderfully to anneal 6mm Dasher Alpha Munitions Brass on the Mark II DB

Common Issue 1

Problem: The AMP Mate will cycle once, stop, then beep.

Solution: This means the eject lever isn’t fully engaging the switch. Slightly bend the switch bracket inward to fix.

Common Issue 2

Problem: Shellholder arm doesn’t move all the way back to the top after annealing.

Solution: Tighten the set screws on the arm shaft. These two screws take a 2.5mm hex key.

Common Issue 3

Problem: The insert mechanism doesn’t push a case all of the way into the shellholder.

Solution: There is a metal tab that runs vertical. Slightly push this towards the back of the unit (towards the case) to amend the problem.
