Most people have no idea an AR can become nearly as accurate as the best of bolt action rifles – how can this be?

Discover the very thorough system you can use to diagnose and document accuracy problems in AR-type rifles. Then you will learn how to use all the proven and very effective techniques to accurize any AR.

This system can be used by gunsmithing shops and manufacturers alike to greatly improve the accuracy of these rifles. But equally as important, most of this system can also be used very effectively by DIY hobbyists at home with a minimum of equipment.

Think of accuracy like this: Accuracy comes from minimizing as much as possible all the flexing, vibrations, and harmonics that occur in a rifle when it is being fired. It is not possible to remove all flexing and vibrations, so we need to control whatever is left to flex and move exactly the same shot after shot while the bullets are going through the barrel. The more you minimize the barrel’s movements, and the more uniformly it moves during every shot, the more accurate that rifle will be!

The barrel is the core of the rifle. A benchrest quality custom barrel does not know what type of rifle it is going into. It may be a bolt action benchrest or competition rifle, it may be a hunting rifle, or it may be an AR. Same barrel, so it has the same exact accuracy potential no matter what type of rifle it goes into.

All the parts and everything in and around that rifle affect how that barrel reacts to the forces placed on it when being fired. The less barrel movement allowed, and especially the less variance in those movements from one shot to the next, will dictate how accurate that barrel/rifle will be.

The course – what you will learn:

This is not a course on the latest and greatest of parts and components, or on how to accurately hold and shoot an AR, but on core proven accurizing techniques that will work to bring the most accuracy possible out of an AR rifle.

What you will learn in this course is how to rework every part of the rifle, including the barrel itself, so that everything works together for top accuracy.

This course first takes you step-by-step through the entire accuracy evaluation process to diagnose an AR to find and document everything possible that will affect the accuracy of that rifle. Then you will learn how to perform all the accurizing steps and techniques needed to make that rifle much more accurate.

Gordy has built and accurized many AR-type rifles over the years, a number of which shot 1/10 MOA to 1/4 MOA accuracy, so these rifles can be extremely accurate when everything is done right. One of these rifles was featured in the Varmint Hunter Magazine (issue #12) back in the mid-1990’s. This rifle shot several 1/10 to 1/4 MOA groups (the best group was .090” at 100 yards) when it was sent out for independent testing.

These same accurizing techniques are what you will learn in this course.
