If you are looking for an optic specifically designed for Extreme Long Range (ELR) competition or serious long-range target shooting, the Telson Target Master Victory 5-32×56 is one you have to take a look at. We recently featured this scope on our 300 Norma Mag build, but today we are going to dive deep into its specific features and put it through the paces on the Ultimate Reloader Optics Test Rig.

The Test Platform
Before breaking down the glass, it’s worth revisiting the rifle this scope sits on. We mounted the 34mm tube inside a Hawkins Precision Heavy Tactical mount on our custom 300 Norma Mag.

This rifle features a BAT Hammerhead Long Action, a 31-inch Custom Rifle Barrels (CRB) blank, a TriggerTech Diamond trigger, and an Accuracy Solutions Baby Orca chassis.
The Target Master Victory was critical in allowing us to center-punch targets out to a mile with this setup.

About the Telson Target Master Victory 5-32×56
If you’ve been watching the channel, you’ve seen us put the Telson Target Master 5-25×56 through its paces across multiple stories. Now, we’ve stepped up to the Victory edition: the Target Master Victory 5-32×56.

Designed specifically for ELR competition, the Victory features a super high-quality build and comes in significantly less in terms of MSRP compared to its competitors. It’s a made-in-Japan optic utilizing ELD Japanese glass and an apochromatic lens system—a feature that is very difficult to find in this price range.

The apochromatic system greatly reduces chromatic aberration (color fringing), which I definitely found to be the case during testing. This provides stunningly clear target resolution at extreme distances.

The 5-32x range offers tremendous versatility. Even at maximum magnification (32x), you retain a competitive 3.73-foot field of view at 100 yards (29.9 feet at 5x). Designed for ELR, this scope boasts an impressive 32 MILs of total internal elevation adjustment. Furthermore, the elevation turret has a zero stop and features a handy pop-up red cylinder that acts as a second-revolution indicator.

Telson’s MIL-only FAR 2 reticle is incredibly intuitive. It features a center cross with 0.2 MIL subtensions.

Surrounding the center aiming point are “quad dots” spaced exactly 0.5 MILs out, providing a fast 1-MIL-wide reference box. The horizontal stadia utilizes a wave pattern—0.2 MIL increments on the bottom and 0.5 MIL increments on the top—allowing for incredibly fast holds.

Illumination makes it easy to see in low light conditions.

What’s in the Box

Right out of the box, Telson includes a comprehensive accessory package so you are immediately ready for the field. The scope ships with scope caps, a sunshade, cleaning cloth, Allen key, and CR2032 battery. It also comes with a specialized four-sided tool that is perfect for removing the battery cap.
Ultimate Reloader Optics Test Rig Results
While I was on a recent trip to Spain, Kyle Shields from our team put the Target Master Victory on our custom, in-house Optics Test Rig. This rig uses a perfectly leveled, highly precise camera system to evaluate mechanical and optical perfection to sub -0.001”.

To test tracking, we took the scope up, down, left and right 3 MIL, noting where we landed on the target. The reticle remained perfectly level and tracked exactly to our calibrated target board with zero deviation.

For parallax, we started with the center of the scope and camera collinear. With the scope focused, we moved the camera left and right 0.050” to simulate varying head position (0.1″ total movement). There was zero point-of-aim shift, indicating a flawless parallax adjustment.

To test image distortion, we captured a frame and overlaid a perfect digital rectangle. The ELD Japanese glass showed absolutely zero signs of barrel or pincushion distortion.

Conclusion
The Telson Target Master Victory 5-32×56 genuinely punches far above its weight class.

This scope represents a massive value, packed with features typically found on optics costing twice as much. From the premium Japanese glass and smooth magnification throw lever to the rock-solid tracking and intuitive FAR 2 reticle, it is an absolute workhorse for extreme long range shooting.
