About the Element Theos 2-10

The Element Theos 2-10 is a Mid-Power Variable Optic (MPVO) featuring a 34mm tube with 42mm objective lens, making it suitable for use on lightweight rifles and lever guns.

It features Element’s iconic toolless turret system with revtrak turrets, a zero stop, extra-low dispersion glass, and diffractive illumination.

It has a quick set parallax adjustable down to 10 meters and 1/10 MIL clicks. This first focal plane scope also is shockproof, weather resistant, and has a lifetime warranty.

From Element Optics

The THEOS 2-10×42 is a MPVO (Mid Power Variable Optic) packed with all the cutting-edge features required for rapid target engagement. The ED Optical System provides an image worthy of the Theos name, while the MPR-1D Reticle with Diffractive Illumination technology ensures you have a clear aim point across the entire zoom range, in all lighting conditions. As with the 6-36 Theos, this model features our flagship RevTrak Turret with integrated revolution indicator & zero stop, shrunk down to a low-profile design. The parallax adjusts down to 10 Meters, with the QuickSet detent providing tactile feedback at the 100m mark for rapid adjustment in high-pressure situations. The Ultimate MPVO? Hard to argue otherwise.

Ultimate Reloader Optics Test Rig

The Ultimate Reloader Optics Test Rig, designed and built in house, measures actual optics performance using precision 100 yard targets (MIL, MOA) and camera positioning to sub -0.0005”. It tests tracking, zoom, parallax, and distortion, but does not currently have a way to capture optics image quality in a meaningful way.

To test tracking, we took the scope up, down, left and right 3 MIL, noting where we landed on the target.

For parallax, we started with the center of the scope scope and camera collinear. With the parallax set to the testing range (100 yards), we moved the scope left and right 0.050” to simulate varying head position.
