ARCA with a Shooting Tripod
One great reason to use an ARCA rail is so that you can click into a tripod (as pictured above with a Coyote hunting rig I recently put together). Using an ARCA rail with a bipod makes the rifle much more steady compared to a flat forend with a bag or similar.
ARCA with a Bipod
I really like to use ARCA rails for bipods- it’s really easy to mount, remove, and adjust bipods fore-aft with an ARCA rail! Here’s a Henderson Universal 10″ ARCA rail on my 6.5 Creedmoor AR-10:
ARCA for a Benchrest Rifle

So it’s not surprising that I put ARCA rails on pretty much every rifle that I build or obtain! In our experience with Henderson Precision ARCA rails, they are top notch quality, and are very rigid. The perfect rail for a hunting rifle, or target rifle.
