Our most impressive AEROMATCH results came from our 6mm x 47 Lapua build featuring a 6mm 1:7.5 Krieger barrel, BAT Hammerhead action, WOOX Furiosa Ultra chassis (ULTIMATERELOADER10 to save 10%) and Hawkins Precision M5 DBM.
F-Class John achieved groups down to approximately 0.120” with the Hornady AEROMATCH 6mm 105 Grain Bullet and 36.5 grain charge weight with this rifle.
F-Class John also tested these bullets in Lapua’s 6GT brass, shooting respectable groups with a SIG Cross with upgrades from ODIN Works. Three shots went into a 0.53” group at 100 yards and four went into 0.55”.
About Sierra MatchKing X
We’ve had splendid results with Sierra’s new MatchKing X bullets, testing the 6.5mm 142-grain MKX, .30 caliber 200-Grain MKX, and 7mm 175 Grain bullet.
Five shots went into 0.435” at 100 yards from our 7mm SWC build with 7mm 175 Grain MKX.
