I use a lot of tools from Brownells for gunsmithing, so one of my highlights at the 2019 SHOT Show was talking to the folks at the Brownells booth. During that visit, I had the opportunity to get an update on the “latest and greatest” from Roy Hill, here’s the conversation we had!

Brownells has a LOT of new offerings for 2019, and here are some of the highlights Roy and I discussed:

Brownells Long-Range Riflescopes

Yes, Brownells now has their own line of long-range precision optics under the name “Brownells Match Precision Optic”. There are two models, one offering 5-25 power and 56mm objective, and another offering 3-18 power with a 50mm objective. These scopes feature First Focal Plane reticles, audible click turrets, a zero stop, and more.

Brownells BRN-180 Uppers

The new BRN-180 upper from Brownells is a throw-back to the AR-180 rifle from the 1970s, but totally updated with modern features like a picatinny rail.

Brownells Glock Slides

If you are looking to upgrade your Glock, Brownells has a TON of parts to help you turn your Glock into your dream pistol. A new offering is a variety of Glock slides made by Brownells. There are quite a few color and configuration options: you can check them out HERE.

Brownells Retro Rifles and Gear

One of my dreams is to build a 100% authentic M16 replica (as close as an AR15 can get). I’m totally into retro AR15/AR10/M16 stuff, can’t get enough! If you are like me, you’ll want to check out the entire lineup of Retro AR products from Brownells.

Above is a picture of the new-for-2019 “BRN-Proto” rifle which is configured with a lot of the original equipment parts from the first AR-15 prototype. Even the furniture is made to look like the original fiberglass parts.

There’s also an authentic 4-power M16 carry handle optic which is also new for 2019.

These optics are built in the same factory as the originals, but with some updates for modern AR-15s.
